Every now and then ACS likes to spotlight some of our members. Today we bring to you one of our newest ACS members, NeffStarr.
Neff comes to us with some pretty killer graphics skills! He’s never gone to school, but has learned all on his own from reading, researching, but also watching his brother, who happened to be going to a art institute. His brother then in turned gave him pointers, encouragement, and books to further his knowledge in graphics. He has thus learned Photoshop, Fireworks Dreamweaver, and has slowly started learning Eclipse. He started learning Photoshop in order to “fix and manipulate photos, and design small web sites for record shops. “
Neff then learned of the G1 device, which sparked his graphic nature and he “had” to have one, which he was able to accomplish. He was overjoyed to be able to personalize his G1 to his liking and this led him to start making wallpapers and tweaking other already made ones. He has since graduated from device to device, and then aquired the desire to be able to personalize icons, which he also does on his own, but has yet to develop an app. So, for now, he just designs single images and customizing his phone with them. He hopes to be able to master the ADW themes and start producing them.
Currently, Neff makes icons and walls for HDPI, XHDPI, and 10.1 tablets. There are few screenshots pulled from Google Play to showcase his work for you all. It’s very good. I strongly recommend that you check him out on Google Play.
NeffStarr will be a great addition to the ACS family, and the graphics team as well. We look forward to the work he will be able to produce, and are excited to showcase his abilities.
