Today Dropbox has been updated with a new feature, now you may stream videos that have been uploaded to your Dropbox. This means you no longer have to download a video in it entirety to enjoy the videos you have stored on your Dropbox.
While the bandwidth used is still the same, this allows you almost instantaneous enjoyment of your saved movies. A great boon to those who will enjoy 50GB free storage with their shiny new Galaxy 3!
While there are many cloud storage solutions out, there it are upgrades like this that will keep Dropbox viable. For now the only caveat is you must be on Ice Cream Sandwich to use the new feature, and yes, it worked on an OG Epic running Cyanogen Mod Beta4, though 4G is a minimum and WiFi still works best.
Head to the play market and update your app to enjoy this new feature.
