FourSquare has also updated their app recently. Besides a more ICS friendly design, it has also added new features to encourage exploration.
The “Explore” tab now shows a map that overlays points of interest with friend’s locations. This is clearly an attempt to add more of a discovery element to the app instead of the incessant quest to login at a single location more times than anyone else.
Update the app from your Play Market to see the pretty new layout and explore the new features for yourself. Will this update win back people who gave up on FourSquare? Clearly the publisher hopes so. Tell us what you think below.
