FREEBIE!!! Well, Sort Of…

I woke up this morning with two gems in my inbox, one was the return of the Starbucks 40th Anniversary Tribute blend coming back and an email regarding a FREE extended battery kit for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. The only downside is this is for new adopters who are looking to purchase the device from Samsung direct. However still not a bad deal as the 4G devices we are carrying are not known for great battery life, shoot, after 8 hours of fairly heavy use mine just beeped at me letting me know it only had 10% left.
This battery is speculated from Samsung to afford the user an additional 1-2 hours of battery life, however, customer’s on Amazon have stated an improvement of 3-4 hours of additional life. With anything regarding battery life it is going to come down to how you use your device, heavy use to some may be light use to others. It is purely a subjective matter. But hey, a free battery is a free battery, especially an extended one.
The free battery bundle consists of the i515 2100 mAh battery and a special cover for added protection. This package normally sells for $49.99 directly from Samsung and runs anywhere from $30 to $40 from various online retailers.
Check out the offer if you are looking for a great device running ICS out of the box with tons of developer support and a great community to help you through anything your phone might get you into.
Let us know if you get one, we’d love to hear about it.
