Game Stop – Your New Wireless Hook Up

Games and Phone Service In One Spot?

Hello Gamers and Fellow Tech Addicts, Zachdroid here with another tidbit of news for ya:

GameStop has unveiled their newest venture to the public recently, Mobile Phone Service.  They are going to offer plans, pay as you go mind you, for between 5$ and 50$.  They are offering the service for those of you that currently have and AT&T phone and want to hook it up with a budget plan in mind.  They are set up as an AT&T MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator), so as long as your phone will fly with AT&T, it’ll fly with GameStop!!

TechCrunch says the $55 offer includes unlimited voice with limited data, which drops to $20 on a pay-as-you-go plan, while Engadget says all their plans are strictly pay-as-you-go, and that unlimited voice, text and 500 MB will cost $55.  Following the source links on both their pages, it took me to a GameStop page which required required a username/password combo.

Details are still trickling in and I will do my best to update this post as I get them.  Keep your eyes peeled as more on this new venture emerges.  See you soon.
