Forgot to mention, the videos on youtube really don’t help me much because there is no captioning with them! LOL, try watching them with no sound on, you will see what I mean! I have to read and try to understand what is going on. Hope I don’t get on any nerves with too many questions.
Just got my first ever cell! Doing lots of reading to get informed so I can “flash” roms and see what it is all about. I am all about making anything perform better for my uses. I am Deaf and use the sprint CapTel apk to use my e4gt. It is so nice to be able to communicate with other peeps on the phone and know that I don’t have to live in a cave and let the world pass me by! Lots of reading here so let me get to it. =)

I love the ACSyndicate team because we have flawed devices and it can’t be avoided but the custom roms and other work they do makes cruddy phones like my Samsung Epic 4g usable again. Keep up the great work ACS!

Your articles rocks almost as much as your ROMs.. Nothing but ACS on my Epic 4g.
Honestly, I am just commenting for the giveaway.
While I like that you have a clean layout, the logo? looks like a mess in comparison. The type, with its metallic effects is just too much. While it looks complex, I can barely tell what’s in your logo up close, much less far away. I am not sure how much your Web site is compatible with Opera, but on some posts the sidebar on the right overlaps with your post content.
We are working the bugs out on the website….more to come soon…thank you all for your comments and support!
I would say re run the fastboot oem unlock in the command prompt again. Re download the fastboot file and put it in the proper folder.

I followed the instructions completely in the “How to install the Android SDK (Software Developers Kit), ADB (Android Debug Bridge) and Fastboot on Your PC” by Tim Schofield (qbking77) of the ACSyndicate Team and thought it did a great job of detailing the necessary steps. Following the ”How to Unlock the Galaxy Nexus Bootloader” video uploaded Dec19, 2011″ did not go quite as smoothly for me, however.
After confirming that both the adb.exe and the fastboot.exe files were present in the C:\android-sdk\platform-tools\ folder (and that the Developer option for USB debugging – Debug mode when USB is connected was selected), the command “adb reboot bootloader” was entered followed by the “fastboot oem unlock” command.
The command window displayed the following:

The screen displayed at 4:45 into the video (with “Yes – unlock bootloader” and “No – Do not unlock bootloader” never appeared.
I simply selected “Power off” and the phone rebooted normally but I really would like to unlock the bootloader and root the phone. What do you recommend, Tim?

Hello ACS, I would like to start with great job. You guys have done very well, and are going strong. You have been the most helpful in my android journey, from my epic 4g to my newly rooted nexus s 4g.
